How to file a complaint ?

Victim of a misdeed? Damaged car? Involved in a traffic accident with injuries? Stolen or lost wallet?

Do not hesitate to file a complaint with the Police. It is thanks to your complaint that an investigation can be conducted.

Currently, at the Federal Police with SHAPE, you have two ways to file a complaint:

  1. At the police station;
  2. In situ.

However, it is not possible to file a complaint by phone, email or social networks.

In situ

The police will go to the scene in urgent situations (traffic accidents with injuries), in the event of facts requiring investigation (burglary, shoplifting with images from surveillance cameras, fights in progress) or when the perpetrators are still present.
