Who can request an extract from the Criminal Records ?

Any person registered in the population registers of a Belgian municipality (i.e. having a national identity card, protocol, residence permit or annex 19) via their Municipal Administration. Persons who are no longer residents or not registered (e.g. military personnel assigned to SHAPE) in Belgium can submit an application to the Central Criminal Record (diplomatie.belgium.be)
