In Mons, the first phase of a project to renew the surfaces of the N6 between the junctions formed with the R50 and the Chemin Vert, in both directions, will begin on Monday 6 April. In order to preserve mobility as much as possible, this work has been divided into several successive phases, which will progress from south to north (Mons to Casteau), until mid-June.
Renewal of the surface of the N6 in both directions of traffic between the R50 junction with Avenue Maistriau (N6) in MONS and the junction of Rue Grande (N6) with Chemin Vert in CASTEAU. As written above, the work will be divided into several phases with an interruption during the spring school break (25/04 to 10/5).
Below are the phases planned for this month of April:
Phase 1: Monday, April 6 to Friday, April 10 (subject to weather conditions)
Crossroads R50-N6 (not included) to crossroads chemin de la Procession (not included)
Diversion via R50, B501, E42-E19/A7 towards Charleroi and exit n°23 "Nimy - SHAPE" to join the N6.
Phase 2: Monday, April 13 to Friday, April 17 (subject to weather conditions)
Junction chemin de la Procession (not included) to junction R50 (not included)
Diversion via E42-E19/A7 towards France, exit n°24 "Mons", B501 and the R50.
Phase 3: Monday, April 20 to Friday, April 24 (subject to weather conditions)
In both directions between the crossroads Chemin de la Procession (included) and the crossroads with the Rue des Viaducs (not included)
Diversion via E42-E19/A7 and interchanges n°23 "Nimy" and n°24 "Mons"
Subsequent phases will also be published on the website as soon as they are received by our services.
