Enhanced penalties

Since February 14, 2026, throughout the Kingdom, the legislator has strengthened the penalties for the use of mobile phones while driving and driving under the influence of alcohol.
Enhanced penalties for using cell phon while driving and for drinking and driving



Cell phone while driving : Immediate withdrawal of the driving license for 15 days



Dinking and driving : 0.35mg/L = immediate withdrawal of the driving licence for 15 days.
