Police on Web is an electronic counter that allows you to report certain non-urgent facts. You must bring your Belgian identity card.
File a complaint at the local police station
You can also make a statement or file a complaint at your local police station.
How to prepare your complaint?
To properly prepare your complaint, you need to gather as much information and evidence as possible. Remember to write a quick chronology of the facts, what you have observed and when, the actions taken, the verifications made, the messages sent and received, take screenshots, note elements such as email addresses, account numbers, phone numbers, etc.
This way, you build a stronger case. The more potential elements of the investigation, the more likely your complaint will be successful.
It is preferable to go to a police station to file a complaint so that the first measures can be taken quickly.
