Why this campaign?
Even though our partners organise many prevention campaigns in the media, we note that citizens often turn to the Federal Police with questions related to cybersecurity, one of the Federal Police's areas of expertise.
Through this prevention campaign, we want to mobilize to show them that we are there to support them, inform them and advise them upstream, so that they can react appropriately when they are victims or witnesses of a scam.
We can all fall victim to online scams, no matter how old we are. Social media and the internet are not without danger. Cyber crooks are becoming more and more inventive in trapping us, especially with the use of artificial intelligence. Let's be vigilant!
